Color
Amber
Nose
A
lot of (too much even) grapefruit / citrus, as well as lychees, marzipan,
cigars and floral notes. Horse stalls: Straw in a positive sense, ammonia in a
negative one. Sherry, but not in the heavy sense as in most OBs.
Taste
Bittersweet and slightly earthy, not as sour as the nose. Hay, sugar, peach, barley and marzipan. Quite natural, the sherry remains in the background.
Finish
Hay
and sugar with grapefruit, with more room for the sherry. Medium-long.
Comments
Quite different from Dalmore's OBs. Generally enjoyable, but a bit too sour for my taste.
