Nose:
nice sweetness right away. White chocolate, ripe peach, honey, lemon, nice oak, fresh clover (klee) & (light) grass, charred wood/smoke, an old book, light tree gum/liquid amber/baumharz. (93)
A bit later: papaya & mango +/o, vanilla pods o, (92)
Later: More vanilla & some baked cookies (91)
W water: seems to bring lemon, pineapple, oak, grass & mineral notes to the fore and seems not to help here as some of the more complex notes seem to disappear. (88)
W water later: beeswax comes up again, fruits turn more broad again, peach is back, also some tropic fruits (89)
Palate:
Milk & white chocolate and an immediate fruit cocktail of fresh tropical fruits (92)
W water: similar here, slightly more oaky, a tad less fruity, but most of the previous notes are still around (91)
Finish:
Loooong. More fruits, even slightly spicy mint on top with the alcohol showing it`s warm & prickly head & more fruits, now candied, beeswax, and again occasional tiny smoke trails (94)
Later: Fruits turn cooked now & altogether a bit heavier & slightly less dramatically changing. Also more malty & a tad milky/yeasty (91)
W water: still long, pleasant malt & lots of fruit, but less beeswax, also a slighlyt bitter oaky note occasionally. (89)

Comment: Somewhat flakey. Feels as if my sample is on it`s peak already. Most likey from a fresh opened bottle, this might behave differently and needs to breathe, but mine seems to be most interesting the first few minutes after pouring. Exceptional cask in any case.
Remember - whisky scores and impressions are highly subjective and situational by nature - so don't go and buy whisky according to someone else's taste...

Same cask like ID 20796 but with standard back-label. The Cask are selected by Uwe Wagmueller and the bottles are only available to him at his shop Finest Whisky. Bottle number is 173 for both versions in summary.

Color

Jonquiripe corn
Nose
Warming with strong notes of vanilla, butterscotch cookies and apples. After a while some herbal tea is coming up as well. Very very tasty.
Taste
Powerful butterscotch, honey and vanilla bomb. Apple pie aroma, sugar cane and some spicy notes as well - white pepper. After a while I took a bigger mouthful and now I got lots of cherry liqueur as well. Excellent.
Finish
Very long, warming and satisfying.
Comments
What shall I say? Gorgeous. Unbelievable. A clear recommendation!

Deep copper
Nose
Kraftvoll, satte Vanillenoten, TrockenfrĂƒÂ¼chte, sehr voluminös, klasse Nase
Taste
cremig in der Konsistenz, Mon-cherie Kirsche, Alkohol wunderbar eingebunden, weich, aber dennoch kraftvoll.
Finish
ĂƒÂ¼berdurchschnittlich lang, wiederum Kirsche, vermischt mit Vanille
Comments
Was fĂƒÂ¼r ein Tomatin!
