Glenrothes Robur Reserve is a fabulous little
travel retail exclusive, named for European of Spanish oak, Quercus Robur. This
is aged with a good proportion of first fill Oloroso sherry casksâ€

Color

Deep gold

Nose

Sherry on the nose, sweet Olosoro, pepper, berry fruits, calves leather and cedar wood.

Taste

Sweet spices, nutmeg, prune juice, a hint of uncooked pastry, a little golden syrup and Demerara rum.

Finish

Cloves, more of those prunes, a hint of dried apricot and toasted barley.

This is one of those expressions that you buy and are not sure what to expect. This is different the flavor and the finish are amazing. This has all the expectations of a great whisky and it is a nice varietal from Glenrothes to show everyone that they are the real deal. It has spice, some sweet and lots of finish at 40% surprisingly.

Remember it\'s maturity that makes whisky great! That\'s why I Love The Glenrothes!
