Taste

A soft and smoky flavor with a hint of salt and butter tones that blend into an intense and rich flavor of raisins, cherries, vanilla and burnt orange with fruit cake.

An uncoloured and non-chillfiltered Bruichladdich matured for 20 years in the Celtic Isle of Islay in oak barrels.

Color

Mahogany

Nose

lovely fruit stew with a lot of cinnamon sticks! Mostly red fruits like cherry and strawberry. But stewed pears as well. Dried fruits at the far end of the nose: dried plums. And just a hint of peat smoke.

Taste

intense flavours with lots of red and brown notes. Leather, almonds, plums, apricots, And tons of red wine. Some bouillon as well.

Finish

dark chocolate on the finish with a lingering taste of red wine.

Very good price-performance ratio, enjoyable good to drink bottle. Lightly peated with sweet fruits (dried red berrys) in the aftertaste. Well balanced with a long finish, as my friend says, let`s take another one.
