THIS is a great spirit for mixing...
here some recipes that I meanwhile worked out:

DogTail:
3 parts Vit Hund
1 part Dry Gin
1 part CinZano Orancio
1 part Compass Box Orangerie
1 BIG dash of Orange Bitter

all over ice, stir gently,
add a half slice of orange.

for the Ladys:
add 2 parts of fresh orange juice instead of the Dry Gin:
mmmmmmmmmm
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

DogMa:
1 part Vit Hund
2 parts Noilly Prat Extra Dry
1 part Finlandia Vodka
1 part Andalö Sanddorn (Sea Buckethorn) Liqueur
1 dash of Angostura

all over ice, stirred, NOT shaken,
some lemon zest on top...
works great as aperitiv too.

Dogster:
2 parts Vit Hund
2 parts Compass Box / Great King Street "Artists Blend"
3 parts Andalö Sanddorn (Sea Buckethorn) Liqueur
1 dash of Orange Bitter

all over ice,
and again, stirred, NOT shaken:
you get serveral
layers of the liquids in the glass by that,
so every sip is a little different!

should work well with any smooth (blended) Whiskey,
and you should it try with your favorite
kind of Liqueur too!

trying and testing out the voumen ratios,
an tasting with some friends is best part of the fun in here:
happy

ENJOY!!
Der Weg ist der Weg, und das Ziel ist das Ziel.

Vit Hund in Swedish means White Dog in English.  This is what early whisky pioneers in the USA called their new make spirit.
In an interstellar burst, I\'m back to save the universe.
