Notes de LMDW :

Distillée en 1993 et mise en bouteille par la maison de négoce belge The Nectar, cette expression du fameux single malt de la distillerie Caol Ila est issue d`un fût de sherry. Très fumé, c`est un whisky marqué par des notes de cendre, d`iode, de fruits acidulés et d`agrumes. Un embouteillage plus riche et plus marqué que la version officielle âgée de 18 ans.

Just a quick note on this one. I wasn`t very impressed by it. I thought it would have more `panache`. It`s not a bad whisky but I would not run to the store and buy me a bottle. I got a lot of ashes on the palate, which I didn`t really like. I think it overpriced and overrated for an 18yo whisky. But that`s just me.

The only thing that tastes good in whisky is more whisky.
