Made up mostly of malt whiskey aged for 11 years in sherry casks before blending.

Color
Deep copper
Nose
(13/25) A little Feinty, hints of freshly chopped nuts, with a touch of vanilla ice cream. Also slight hints of lemon and cherries.
Taste
(14/25) Still a bit spirity, but nice warm notes mixed nuts ( almonds, peacans, peanuts), touch of cinnamon, and brown sugar.
Finish
(13/25) Lingering syrup flavors ( mix of berries and watered down maple syrup).
Comments
Balance: (18/25)
Other comments: Even though this score isn't great, its still my favorite inexpensive blend, as I like the darker flavors presented by the very prominent sherry influence. This bottle does taste "younger" than my previous bottles, in the sense that I am getting far to much spirit notes.

Nose
Fresh oak, softened with sherry.
Taste
Full of flavours, and such a beautifully balanced, rounded whiskey: oaky, fudgy, buttery, with that Bushmills rosewater character.
Finish
A grainy, but more-ish, dryness.
Comments
Long one of my great favourites. In composition, it is the the simplest of blends, yet it demonstrates how malt can someimes be enhanced by a leavening of grain.

What I like about this particular release from Bushmills is that it is
very drinkable and easy on the throat later. This starts out very strong
then slowly tapers off into a balanced finish. Nice!!
