Nose
It's from 1989, but it smells very youthful to me. I suspect (and the colour supports this) that it has been a well used cask and hasn't added much to the whisky. There's a strong feints smell that comes across as new plastic. Its not unpleasant though, the sweetness stops that. And there's fruit: bananas and pears, then an underlying grist. The nose is fascinating.
Taste
Feinty again, but the sweetness cures all ills. This time its not plastic, more like buttermilk. Not getting the fruit here though. Its a sharp sugary hit
Finish
lots of sugar that eventually turns a bit bitter at the end (like a tiny squirt of bitter lemon). Not such a long finish as some of the other grains.
Comments
I could spend ages with the nose on this. The rest of it is not so impressive, but still very enjoyable nonetheless.

It's better to have drunk it all than never to have drunk at all.

Nose
Surprisingly fragrant. Creamy and fruity - citrus of some variety. A little vanillin.
A very nice nose - I could sit and sniff this one for a while
Taste
Gentle on the palate with some soft nuts and toffee. Almost like toffee apples in fact.

Finish
Medium. This is where it is slightly let down, but it's still very nice. I take that back. A second wave has hit now and it's turning out to be quite long after all. There's something of corn-based whiskey in here too.

Comments
Well now, this is another very good grain whisky, and one I would buy
