Color

Tawny

Nose

Slightly tingling and alcoholic at first nosing. Quite sweet and winey with a touch of strawberries and cassis. Pleasant.

Taste

Powerful and very alcoholic with not much taste at first mouthfeel. Winey with a lot of wood aromas, a lovely combination. Surprisingly dry and a little sour. More and more spices are coming up. The palate becomes very nice when you keep the whisky in your mouth for about 10 seconds.

Finish

Long, hot, spicy and a little astringent.

Comments

Good whisky, but in summary too young, simple and alcoholic.
