Color

Jonquiripe corn

Nose

Smoke, followed by a hint of rubber. Sweet fruit, citrus, seaweed, medicine and salt.

Taste

Sweet peat smoke with dried fruit, spices, salt, English liquorice and tobacco. Like smoking a good Havana cigar.

Finish

The aftertaste is long as the smoke and peat hangs on. It becomes slightly bitter but without being dry.

Comments

A nice marrige - not blended but matured together in a single cask - between Ardbeg and Laphroaig with a little Bowmore (lovechild) on top.

A great smoke bomb. Definitely not for beginners.
