Finlaggan The Original Peat Islay Single Malt has the character of the Islay whisky, rich in taste, soft with peat.
The Original Peaty malt has a higher ppm levels than the Finlaggan Old Reserve, the whiskey is richer and fuller with peat aromas.

Color
Chestnutoloroso sherry
Nose
Hutná, zemitá, na pozadí jodová, pro mě hodně dobrá.
Taste
Působí extrémně řídce, az vodově, a překvapuje mě, ze to nikdo nezmínil v
předešlych recenzích, tak vyrazně řídkou chuť jsem ještě u zádné whisky
nepozoroval.
Finish
Dochuť je ale po nemilém překvapení zase v pořádku, krásně nakouřená.
Body za tu plitkou chuť letí dolů, mohlo to byt ještě mnohem
horší, nebyt kouřové záchrany v dochuti.

Feusi gave this whisky 80 points
Very strong Islay whiskey with a beautiful peaty nose. Bourbon Vanilla with peat and salt on the palate, with a brief but memorable finish. Good alternative to other (more expensive) Islay bottlings. Peaty salt is fresh, crisp and easy on the tongue.
