The Macallan gave this whisky 70 points

Color

Old gold

Nose

Soft, flowery, malty fruitiness, sherry, some smokiness, slightly dry and a caramel sweetness.

Taste

Spicy start, creamy and a light sweetness, woody/peaty.

Finish

Short, warm, soft and smooth.

Comments

This one goes excellent with a good coffee, a lovely malt from a nice distillery.

Nose

Very strong, I couldn't smell anything for 10min, so much alcohol.

Taste

Oak, dry oak, nothing else.

Finish

Malty and oaky, medium long.

Comments

It's so boring. The smell is so spirity. The taste and finish are malty and oaky, fun? No..
