Color

Gin clear

Nose

somewhat spirity/ethanol-y for the %s at the start, soon after – pleasant warm wood,  fruit esters (mostly lemon & a few faint exotic ones),  dusty o, tobacco, tree gum/amber, pine-cones, (91)
A bit later: more & more defined fruits (red & green apples +/o, peach o, white grapes o/-), vanilla +/o, some floral notes in the sweetness now as well o/-, lemon peel & good olive oil in a pan o. (91)
Later: vanilla turns more bourbon vanilla-y, fruits now with some sour notes (gooseberries & rhubarb seemed to have joined in as well now) (92)

Taste

strong on wood & fruit (but slightly artificial sweetness on the palate), fresh cookie dough, a touch of beeswax, also some menthol (89)

Finish

a lot more oak wood here and quite complex at that (young, old & some charred) but not overpowering plus quite a few wood spices a la vanilla and a touch of pepper. some fruits (persimmonfruit,  ripe apples, apricots) linger next to it and occasionally have a 2nd comeback that overpowers the wood (94)
Later: fruity finish becomes more reliable over time but wood looses a bit of complexity and turns more vanilla ish (92)
Much Later (~ 60 mins): gets a bitter woody note I don't like much & fruits have mostly dissapeared into malt sweetness & mushrooms (74)
