grassy, cucumber, unripe apples, glue at the start, shoe leather. (86)

grassy, vanilla-licorice, caramel. (87)

The 1966 Loch Lomond was distilled on the 22nd of September 1966 under the watchful eye of Distillery Manager Duncan Thomas and filled into oak barrels the following day. It was then given almost 45 years to mature to perfection in the old bonded warehouses of Loch Lomond Distillery on the banks of Loch Lomond until it was bottled in June 2011. The 1966 Loch Lomond Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the oldest existing Single Malt available from the Loch Lomond Distillery.
