Color

Pale gold

Nose

A lot of spirit, despite the low alcohol percentage. Exotic fruits like peach and pineapple, but also vanilla and honey. Not being very familiar with Ledaig, the nose reminds me of Springbank.

Taste

A fresh, clean spirit. Much spicier than the nose conceals, lots of pepper. Combined with the same fruitiness as in the nose. A bit of citrus, barley and grass. Slightly metallic, but not in a disturbing way. Not a lot of maturity or complexity, but also not sharp.

Finish

Spicy and fruity, medium long.

Comments

Not exceptional, but a nice dram for a summer evening.
