Erik Elixer gave this whisky 86 points
N: honey, strong spices - pepper, butter, tannins, syrup, grains, chocolate and tropical fruits
T: creamy, grains, fruits, spices - white pepper and orange as in vitamin C pills
F: bitter orange peel, lemon, medium drying and again the spices
I\'ll only drink on days that start with T: Tuesday, Thursday Today & Tomorrow...

Color

Pale straw
Nose
Fresh herbs, honey, grapefruit peel, grain and a vague tendency towards medicinal notes
Taste
Ooops, Surprisingly strong taste compared to the rather light nose. Enters with light sweetness of vanilla, then rapidly increasing sweet spices, drying a bit but stays
Finish
Long and spicy ending in nuts and sweet honey

Fresh and vibrant nose, with grassy notes alongside marzipan and honey. Only minimal influence from the sherry without water, but a couple of drops revealed hints of fruit cake and cherry. More complex than I was expecting. Quite dry on the palate, but distinctive and complex. I found it difficult to disentangle all the aspects, but berries, coffee and dark chocolate were all in there somewhere. Medium-length finish with a bitter edge, which was a bit of a shame.
