Jonquiripe corn

Nose

Very grassy and floral, with hints of sour plums and gooseberries.

Taste

Very sweet, tobacco and sherry, bursting into fruity sherbet. Nice.

Finish

Sparkly and fun.

Comments

A nice session dram in my opinion

It's better to have drunk it all than never to have drunk at all.

Gin clear

Nose

Fruité et vif, immédiatement sur la pêche puis, après aération, sur le melon. Pas mal d'amertume et une pointe d'iode.

Taste

Un peu alcooleuse, de l'herbe, de la noisette, du malt. Emplit bien le palais.

Finish

Dans la continuité de la bouche, amère.

Typiquement le genre de speysides que je n'aime pas : trop amère pour moi, je n'y décèle pas grand chose et ne prend aucun plaisir à le boire.

Qui goute un Brora a vie s'en souviendra...

After changing to fresh vanilla malty sweetness in the aroma. The taste is fresh and honey, slightly bitter sweet. Warm, long finish of a slightly bitter drought ends.

Quite sweet, with candied fruits and lots of malt

Medium with some sour lime notes at the end

Nose

schÃ¶ne Zitrusfruchtnoten, aber auch weitere, dunklere FrÃ�¼chte, die aber allesamt sehr frisch herÃ�¼ber kommen, verschaffen sich Aufmerksamkeit in der Nase, das von Dirk bereits angesprochene Marzipan kommt auch durch, immer jedoch leicht Ã�¼berflÃ�¼gelt von den FrÃ�¼chten. Quasi ein fruchtig-kandiertes Marzipanbrot :rauf:. Gelegentlich klingt auch das Holz etwas durch, fÃ�¼gt sich aber ganz gut ins Gesamtbild ein.

Taste

mein erster Eindruck geht in Richtung eines schwereren WeiÃŸweines, eine angenehme SchÃ¤rfe (natÃ�¼rlich relativ bei 43%), eine sanfte SchokoladensÃ�¼ÃŸe (eher eine mit weniger Kakao) und etwas Zimt machen sich im Mundraum breit.

Finish

eher kurz, recht malzig und auch etwas dÃ�¼nn

Comments

ein netter Malt, der in Nase und Mund ordentlich ankommt und beim Abgang etwas enttÃ¤uscht, aber sicherlich ist dies auch dem verstÃ¤rkten Konsum von CS bei mir geschuldet.
