Color

Yellow gold

Nose

After having it rested in my glass for 5 minutes: vanilla, creme brulee, barley, fruit (apple, cooked plums)

Taste

Thick and chewy, vanilla, barley, yet more fruitiness (some lemon zest next to the apple and cooked plums). With water also some nice spices (white pepper).

Finish

Long, and fruity with smooth hints of vanilla, barley and spices.

Comments

This bottle shows the influence that good barrels have on a whisky. This combination of speyside and bourbon is a match made in heaven. Adding water is not compulsory, but makes your dram smoother and chewier!

Distilled at Glen Keith on the 1st October
1992 and aged in two bourbon barrels for 18 years before bottling on the
11th March 2011. A release of 352 bottles from Signatory, at natural
cask strength.
