Color

Old gold

Nose

Has an extraordinary passion fruit aroma. Dried apricots, vanilla and caramel from the oak participate to result in a very nice nose.

Taste

Warming and to some extent rather spicy (chilli and green pepper). The fruityness is still very obvious. Passion fruit juice concentrate and ripe mangos plus raspberries. Last but not least there are notes of toffee. A spectacular taste!

Finish

Long and spicy.

Comments

It will be hard to find any whisky that is as delicious as this 1970 Glen Keith. A clear recommendation.
