Yellow gold

Nose

Somewhat chemical, metallic. Hairspray, stain remover, iron, glue, detergent?, sour cherry kompot, luscious pear, carnations, dahlias.

Taste

Mellow, oaky, medium-bodied. Cherrystone, vanilla wafers, scalded cream, banana, muesli, slice of lemon, bitter orange.

Finish

Almonds, walnuts, earthy note, butter, rye bread, tangerines, strawberry jam?, curry-powder, allspice, ginger?, coriander, peppermint cakes, lemon peel.

Comments

Nose

On the nose, this whisky robust, soft fruit notes underpin the hard malty edge.

Taste

In the mouth it tastes of vanilla, white chocolate and pineapple.

Finish

The aftertaste is delicious sweet and slightly oily

Nose

Sweet fresh flowery notes (heather) some vanilla, citrus and honey.

Taste

A malty sweetness with vanilla and toffee, fresh citrus fruits and a bit oak.

Finish

Rather medium to long finish, very well balanced, oily and warming.

Comments

I'm surpised about the price, take it as long you can, a realy refreshing summer dram.

Nose

Fruity and floral. Pineapple and coconut. Malt.

Taste

More pineapple. Gives way to vanilla and toffee. Milk chocolate. Sun tan lotion.

Finish

Sweet and medium long. Vanilla and mild apples.

Comments

Very nice Highlander. Overlooked in my opinion.

In an interstellar burst, I\'m back to save the universe.
