Color
Amontillado sherry
Nose
Subtle sherry tones and powerful, raisins and chocolate. Nice balance of sweetness and red fruit.
Taste
Again sherry influences and clear chocolate (pure), but also a little bitterness.
Finish
Long and warm wood tones.

Color
Deep gold
Nose
Oranges, tangerines, maybe lots of other things too but there an insidious slightly eggy sulphur that masks it all.
Taste
Initial beautiful rush of citrus, but the sulphur quickly overwhelms it.
Finish
The finish dries quickly and develops a harsh bitterness that grows and sours to the point of unpleasantness.
Comments
You get a sense that the underlying Longmorn class is there, but it
can't escape the sulphur. The sulphur is never that overt, but it kills
the dram.
It's better to have drunk it all than never to have drunk at all.

Oranges, orange blossoms scent. Gingerbread spice on the palate, extremely warm in the mouth. Long flowery herbal aftertaste. A classic winter whiskey. Positive, for me, is the new packaging.

Long finish, feel it in my throat for a long time..
