Color

Amber

Nose

Very flowery. Honey/Vanilla sweetness on the nose, clear malt. Some fruit as well, and oak.

Taste

More honey than vanilla sweetness now, a bit prickly too. The flowery note is still there, as well as some fresh, young fruits. There's an odd bitter note now, making the oak and malt more obvious.

Finish

Not too long, and the bitter note from before is still there. Malt and oak and flat sweetness remain at the end.

Comments

Well for starters this is a very affordable whisky, and with that in mind it's of decent quality. But not a big gun compared to a lot of other kinds.

Nose

Oak and malt. Flowerish. Not very complex.

Taste

Vanilla, a hint of anise. A little bitterness. Almond. Nutty and malty.

Finish

Superficial. Sweet after bitterness. Short.

Comments

This is a very "common" whisky. Not very tastefull, the nose does not promise much (the least good of this whisky).

Nose

Nose softening, young/malty, slightly smoked flesh, sweet like caramel getting to chocolate, hint of floral notes and very perfuming (reduced: warm, soft and a firm flowery scent, very ripe citrus note and forrest notes).

Taste

Light but full of flavor, slightly peppery, hint of peaty dryness, butterscotch/caramel and some wood/ spicy notes (reduced: light sweetness and still light peppery).

Finish

Almost powerful, dry/chewy and quite long.

Comments

I tryed to get as much as possible out this malt, but it's very understandable that because of its age (between 6 and 8y) it has a lack of depth like his older brothers. However it's a nice tipple and certainly for those who are new into whisky drinking it's a great malt to start with.
