Color

Deep copper

Nose

An intense, dusty maly barn. Pear drops, apple pie and a bit of nose prickle. Water brings grapefruit, refreshers, licquorice and barley water.

Taste

Sugar coated malt grains, vanilla and ground black pepper. Much softer and less aggressive with water. Barley sugars are released and the pepper is dismissed.

Finish

Long, sizzling and peppery. Water lengthens it, encourages mouth-watering and calms it nicely.

Comments

One of those rare drams that really appreciates a drop of water.

It's better to have drunk it all than never to have drunk at all.
