Color

Mahogany

Nose

Burnt wood. Smokiness. Sherry. Leather. Earthy and farmy notes. Complex.

Taste

Intense. Very tannic and peaty. Concentrated dry sherry. Dried fruits (figs, prunes).

Finish

Long, bitter-sweet flavours. Oaky.

Comments

Gorgeous. A very special whisky for me...

old Sherry, cedar wood, old books, a deep sweetness, a slight peatiness, toffee, beeswax

Taste

metallic, Sherry, raspberry, tangerine, raisins, molasses, sweet apples, peat, round, middle bodied

Finish

peat, Sherry, sweet, long, ginger, chocolate, a distinct wood influence

Comments

An excellent dram, good balance between peat and Sherry.
