A correct Isle of Jura, but too much new rubber for me. Sorry.

Color

Burnished

Nose

Tingling and heavily perfumed. Rose water and lillys. Wood and caramel as well. I prefer smelling perfume on a woman and not in my whisky.

Taste

Like concentrated liquid oak - liquorice, burnt cake and dark chocolate. Mashy, oily and definitely over-sherried. After drinking this I am afraid that the next woodpecker will take me for an old tree and knock on wood.

Finish

Medium long and warming with drying oak & heavily sherried. Slightly bitter.

Comments

Sorry, but this is definitely too much oak and sherry for me.
