The Macallan gave this whisky 77 points
Color
Chestnutoloroso sherry
Nose
Light smokey and very spicy, some sweetness, soap & sulphury notes, citrus fruit and chocolate (reduced: oranges, fruitcake and ginger)
Taste
Soft, sweet and exotic spices (reduced: mellow and some cloves, nice sherry notes)
Finish
Medium long with oranges, banana's and some exotic flavors (reduced: more pleasant flavors like spiced fruits)
Comments
Not a bad edition from the US series. GLT has also selected 1992 casks for their own version, wich was in my opinion a lot better!!

Nose: Fruity, wood notes, with peach and matchsticks!
Taste: Like old cognac, butterish, old fruit, warming and spicy.
Finish: Medium long with a nice flavor of sherry notes.
