Official tasting notes:
Nose: Dark macerated fruit abounds + distinctly spiced summer fruits + cedar wood & its sherry cask history influence
Palate: It is lightly oaked - being also overtly/warmly spiced ...... carrying liquorice tones & a big/full tannic "hit"
Finish: This is now more subtle - being rather spicy - and showing wafts of sweet honey beyond the soft oaky tones
